How Can I Help You?

Are you feeling lost and confused about menopause? Do you need some help understanding how you’re feeling? Are you struggling with midlife weight gain? Do you feel there is no time for you? This is where coaching could help you.

With so much information available, it can be very confusing and overwhelming when trying to understand menopause transition on your own. You just want to talk to someone about it.

My own experience of early menopause and undergoing a hysterectomy gives me a unique understanding of what you are going through, combined with menopause qualifications. I now want to take that knowledge and experience to help you.

I want to be someone you can talk to and together we can make sure you enjoy midlife.

Coaching, what is it?

Coaching is a structured conversation, where both parties commit to something.
 
For me, coaching is where I am focused on helping you move forward relative to your goals. Coaching is not about what I think you should achieve.

What are goals?

In simple terms, goals are accomplishments yet to be achieved. During your sessions, you will have something you want to accomplish.
 
Examples:
– A better understanding of the menopause
– What can be done or changed to help alleviate my symptoms of menopause.
– I’m due to have a hysterectomy, how do I prepare for it? What do I need to know?

The role of the coach

A coach will help you navigate change and support you to achieve your goals. They will help you identify, define and clarify what your goals are and help you develop action plans to meet those goals.
 
Through encouragement and support, I believe I can help you achieve your goals and transition through this 3rd stage of your life.
 
Change isn’t always easy, and you will make mistakes but by making mistakes you can learn from them and this shows you are trying to change.
 
My approach gives you the tools to continue once the coaching sessions are complete.

The role of the client

To be open and honest. To agree goals and objectives, and create an action plan. Work with the coach to find solutions or ways to work through a problem.
